A Dynamic Woman of God

Pastor Sharon Riley matriculated through the Orange County Public School System, and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

In 1998, Pastor Sharon stepped into purpose by leading a group of 7 people in the establishment of the Agape Perfecting Praise and Worship Center, a non-denominational, cross-cultural, congregation in Orlando. This anointed woman of God is passionate in her pursuit of souls for the Kingdom, as she is often seen reaching beyond denominational, generational, cultural, and racial barriers to share the Gospel throughout the US and the Caribbean. Her lifelong ties to the Orlando community motivate her to serve selflessly and tirelessly through her participation on community advisory boards and youth mentoring programs. Pastor Sharon has served as a guest lecturer at Faith Christian University in Orlando; holds certificates in Biblical Counseling; is the former Managing Editor of central Florida’s premier Christian lifestyle magazine, Gospel Now; is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors; is a United Way Reading Pal; and is also a member of central Florida’s African American Council of Christian Clergy.

Pastor Sharon’s preaching impacts men and women detained in Florida’s prison system through monthly worship services, Bible Studies, correspondence and ministry product distribution; and has allowed her to speak before thousands on many platforms. Pastor Sharon Riley is a passionate preacher and author, whose sermons appear in periodicals and magazines, and most recently, in the newly released 2 nd published collection of sermons by 21 st Century female preachers and pastors, “These Sisters Can Say It.”

In recognition of her outstanding leadership, Pastor Sharon is an Orange County Public Schools’ 2015 Leadership Orange graduate, and the recipient of Good Citizenship Awards from the Orlando Police Department for community service and outreach in efforts to reduce crime in several of the city’s most impoverished regions. She is also recognized by the City of Orlando and the Orange County Commission for community involvement. Pastor Riley’s passion is to help individuals frame their world by the Word of God in seminars, women’s conferences and revivals. Pastor Sharon Riley is a native Floridian, residing in Orlando, Florida and is unmarried with no children.
